Message from NJA President:
Greetings Members and Colleagues!
We are pleased to invite you to join us at our 42nd Annual Judicial Education Conference being held July 16th through July 21st, 2023, in Reno, Nevada. We are excited to be partnering with the National Judicial College in Reno for this very special event. Through this partnership our members are offered some excellent judicial education at the highest level. Classes will be held at the college on the campus of the University of Nevada-Reno. We anticipate offering a minimum of fifteen hours of continuing legal education credits (CLE). The specific courses are still being decided and will be provided later.
Accommodation has been arranged at the Silver Legacy Resort located at 407 North Virginia Street in downtown Reno. The judicial college is further down at 1664 N. Virginia Street, but it is within walking distance (for some) and there is bus transportation.
In addition to providing some well-rounded education sessions, we offer this as a time for personal and professional refreshment and a chance to meet and reconnect with fellow members. We will be holding our signature events: Foundation Scholarship Auction, Annual Banquet, and a day set aside for a special activity for all to enjoy.
Please join us! This is a great opportunity to expand on your own judicial education experience. We welcome and encourage you to bring your family to participate in some of the events as well. We look forward to seeing you in Reno!
Warmest regards,
Hon. Gail D. Beckham
N.J.A. President
